Television:
4:00–6:00 p.m. EDT, on NBC Sports. The two-hour NBC show will be rebroadcast on Universal Sports at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
Pre-event Media Headquarters
A small pre-event media workroom will be available at the Hilton New York, located in midtown Manhattan. This room will serve as both a workroom for journalists and accreditation pick-up in advance of the meeting. The media workroom and accreditation pick-up will move to Icahn Stadium on Saturday, June 12. Wireless Internet access will be available.

Thursday, June 10, and Friday, June 11, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m, and on Saturday, June 12, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Getting There:
The Hilton New York is at 1335 Avenue of the Americas (between West 53rd and 54th streets). The closest subway stop is Seventh Avenue and 53rd Street via the B, D or E (local).
Main Media Headquarters
The main media workroom will be at
Icahn Stadium
on Randall’s Island in New York City. The workroom, press mixed zone and press conference room will all be together in a large tent centrally located just off the infield. There will also be reserved space in the media tribune for journalists on deadline. Wireless Internet access will be available in all media work areas.

Accreditation
Applications for accreditation must be received by Friday, June 4. All applicants must complete the online accreditation form; no paper copies will be considered. Accreditation pick-up for media who have been preapproved will take place at the Hilton New York on Thursday, June 10, and Friday, June 11, and at the main media entrance at Icahn Stadium on Saturday, June 12. Photo identification and proof of affiliation (if applicable) are required to pick up accreditation.

Thursday, June 10, and Friday, June 11, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 12, 12:00–4:30 p.m. Any media arriving later than 4:30 should make advance arrangements with the adidas Grand Prix media staff.
Transportation & Parking

. Select media parking is available at Icahn Stadium in Lot E. The spots must be requested and approved in advance. Parking passes will be distributed during accreditation pick-up. Dedicated transportation options for media include:
Media Shuttle:
One shuttle will depart for Icahn Stadium at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 12, from the Sheraton New York. This will be the only official media transportation option to the stadium from midtown. Space is limited; journalists should reserve a spot in advance with the adidas Grand Prix media team. The trip will take approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. Two shuttles will leave from Icahn Stadium at the conclusion of the meeting and will drop journalists at the Sheraton New York. The first bus will leave at 7:30 p.m., and a second shuttle at 9:00 p.m.
Randall’s Island Ferry:
Journalists who are unable to catch the media shuttle from midtown can reserve a spot on the Randall’s Island Ferry. The ferries will depart from and return to East 35th Street and East 90th Street in Manhattan. The ferry schedule is available for download by clicking

. Journalists must request tickets in advance, which will be distributed during accreditation pick-up.
Athlete Availability
The adidas Grand Prix will host two media events in advance of the meeting, one on Thursday, June 10and the second on Friday, June 11. Please see the

On the day of the event, most athletes will be available for interviews in the mixed zone only. Formal post-event press conferences will be reserved for significant performances—such as a world or American record or injury to a top athlete—and for high-demand athletes. They will commence at the conclusion of the meeting in the press conference room located within the media tent.
Broadcast Restrictions
NBC Sports is the host broadcaster for this meeting of the IAAF Diamond League, and as such, is the only organization that is permitted to record competition footage occurring in the infield at Icahn Stadium. At no time once the meeting begins at 3:00 p.m. EDT, and through its duration, may accredited media film, tape or record any competition footage, athlete celebration, victory lap, or the like, that occurs on the track or in the infield. Accredited media are permitted to tape footage of crowd reaction and post-event athlete interviews provided the footage does not include anything restricted (as outlined in the previous sentence). Interviews must be conducted in the mixed zone or other designated press areas. Please review the

The adidas Grand Prix, in its sixth year, is the nation’s premier outdoor track & field invitational meet. It features Olympic stars, the Jim Ryun High School Dream Mile for top high school athletes and the NYC Mayor’s Cup Fastest Kid competition for youth in the tristate area. Increased and upgraded backstretch seating at track level is being added to accommodate the growing demand and interest from fans in the New York area.
