Alli Billmeyer

Event: Girls' Dream Mile
Date of Birth: June 14, 1993
High School & Year of Graduation: Torrey Pines Class of 2011
College: Stanford University

Other Sports You Like To Play:  I enjoy swimming laps as cross training.  I also used to dance classical ballet (I was Rat Queen in our annual Nutcracker performance) and played soccer for 11 years until I started to focus on running.

If you could be an athlete in any other sport, who would you choose and why?:  I would want to be (United States Olympian) Micheal Phelps.  I love swimming and I think it would be really fun to not only win 8 olympic gold medals, but to also eat 7000 calories a day!

What is your favorite place in the world and why?:  Hawaii without a doubt.  It is the most relaxing and peaceful place in the world.  Our family attempts to plan vacations to different places, but we always end up back in Hawaii.

What motivated you to choose track and field as a sport?:  I liked the idea that the harder you work, the faster you will go.  I had always ran for fun and I wasn't too bad at it, so I decided to give it a try!

Want She Wants The World To Know:
I am so excited to be at the Dream Mile again this year!  Last year, it was an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget and I know this year will be even better. New York City, here I come!
