adidas Grand Prix Travel & Transportation

RISF, NYC Parks and the adidas Grand Prix are pleased to offer spectators of the adidas Grand Prix alternative transportation and parking options for the June 11th event. Mass Transit is the most efficient way to reach the island and is STRONGLY encouraged. To avoid traffic delays please consider using one of the event’s mass transportation options. Be advised, spectator vehicles which hold a pre-purchased parking pass will receive access to priority parking lots. If you do not hold a pre-purchased parking pass, parking will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. For information on how to purchase a parking pass, please click here.

Mass Transit:
For Mass Transit service to the adidas Grand Prix you can take the M35 bus from 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. Take the 4, 5 or 6 train or Metro-North to 125th St. Exit the station to transfer upstairs to the M35 Bus stop which is located at the corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave. The ride to Randall's Island is 5-7 minutes each way, and drops off right in front of Icahn Stadium. Pick up after the event will take place on the north side of the stadium in PARKING LOT A -- this is nearer the stadium and NOT the standard M35 busstop. The fare to Randall's Island and back is $2.25 each way. The buses will depart Randall's Island as needed and will go directly back to the stop at 125th Street and Lexington. For more information, log onto www.mta.info.

Ferry Service
Ferry Service will be available to Randall's Island from both Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn, and from East 35th Street in Manhattan. Click here for departure/arrival times and to purchase tickets. UPDATE: Due to construction, the Fulton Ferry Landing departure point has been moved to Pier 6 on Atlantic Ave. Click here for a map of the area.
